Locality: Bougain-villa is located at Bacolet Point, Scarborough, Tobago Disabled and Elderly Access: Bougain-villa is a single storey villa with only one step up to the house from the driveway. All floors inside the villa are level. All bedrooms and living areas are spacious. There are however a number of steps out from the veranda area out onto the pool deck, but you can get easy access to the pool deck from the main entrance. Helpful hints: We will supply a complimentary welcome pack with breakfast items and water at the villa for your arrival. However if you wish to have the villa fully stocked or you require specific items including a prepared meal prior to your arrival please contact us and we will make the necessary arrangements. You will be billed separately for the additional items. If you wish to have your shopping purchased for you during your stay, this can be arranged and a service charge of US$10 will be added for each shopping trip. Useful information: There is a landline telephone at the villa which receives incoming calls. We can also provide you with a local pay as you go mobile phone for the duration of your holiday. The phone can be topped up with call time at a number of retail outlets. You will need an adaptor for your electrical equipment as the electricity supply is 110 volts AC, 60Hz. Plugs are the 2 flat pin type, as in the USA. Services: The pool is serviced 3 times per week. The garden is maintained twice per week. Garbage bags should be placed in the metal refuse receptacle at the end of the drive for collection. The refuse truck comes 5 times per week Monday to Friday. Airport Arrivals: We provide complimentary airport transfers and will arrange to meet and greet you at the airport. If you prefer we can arrange for you to collect a rented vehicle from the airport. (see transport section below). Transport: We strongly recommend that you hire a vehicle for the duration of your holiday as we do not recommend that you rely on public transport during the night. You must wear a seatbelt. Note that in Trinidad and Tobago most drivers use hand signals to show that they are stopping or turning so please be alert. Inter-island Ferry between Trinidad and Tobago: The inter-island ferry takes 2 1/2 hours. We recommend that you purchase tickets in advance of your date of travel.
